At Harriman Heating & Air Conditioning, we love giving back to our Southeastern Michigan community.
This fall, we put our best feet forward in the annual Race for the Cure and planned special giveaways and a maintenance discount to help homeowners prep for winter.
We are grateful for the community’s support since we opened our doors in 1996. We are committed to improving the health and welfare of our customers, employees, and community members by contributing to their causes.
Our favorite charity is Susan G. Komen, a nonprofit organization working to eradicate breast cancer through research, screening, education, and treatment. The organization also focuses on breast cancer patient support, public policy initiatives, and awareness campaigns.

From our recognizable pink-colored work vans to our annual participation in the Race for the Cure, breast cancer fundraising and awareness have a special place in our hearts at Harriman Heating & Air Conditioning.
We laced up our sneakers on a Saturday morning in September and gathered in downtown Detroit with over 2,500 other Susan G. Komen supporters to participate in the annual Race for the Cure. This annual event raises awareness and funds for cancer research, mammograms, and patient care and services in Metro Detroit.
The event raised $271,061—approximately $78,000 more than the 2024 goal. Harriman Heating & Air Conditioning is proud to have donated HVAC equipment for a giveaway at the event.
Harriman Ultimate Fall Giveaway
Our giveaway during Race for the Cure was not the only free HVAC unit we planned to gift a lucky winner this fall.
We took contest entries for the Harriman Ultimate Fall Giveaway online through Sunday, Nov. 3.
One lucky winner will start winter with a new furnace to keep their home warm and cozy. Another winner will receive a pair of tickets to the Thanksgiving Day Detroit Lions game.
